Comme le suggèrait Camille dans un sujet précédent, je poste ici une offre d’embauche pour un poste d’Online Marketer. Comme votre communauté à une approche du marketing qui nous plait (centrée sur l’utilisateur, remise en cause et amélioration continue et recherche de hacks intelligents) nous voulions déposer une annonce chez vous.
A propos de Cozy, nous sommes une jeune startup de 18 personnes qui développe une solution de cloud personnel libre et open source. Par rapport aux autres acteurs du marché nous nous différencions en ayant une approche respectueuse de la vie privée, mono-utilisateur et centrée sur la donnée plutôt que sur le fichier. Ce qui ouvre beaucoup de portes en matière d’usage.
Niveau équipe, nous sommes majoritairement techniques et fonctionnons en télétravail. Nous nous basons sur des méthodes agiles pour nous organiser. Le produit est bien avancé avec une communauté sympathique. L’ambiance dans la team est à l’entraide et l’autonomie. Notre moteur est l’envie de créer une alternative solide aux géants du web.
Forts de tout ces éléments, nous souhaitons donc mettre plus l’accent sur l’acquisition. Comme vous le comprenez, c’est pourquoi je suis là !

Our mission
Cozy is an open source iCloud. We allow everyone to host their web apps and data on their hardware. Cozy turns the server into a personal cloud where apps can communicate with each other. This paradigm unleashes web applications capabilities, solves many privacy issues and free us from the data fragmentation problem every web user meets.
Cozy is based on a free and open source software. It means our community is deeply involved in the project. Anyone can contribute through bug reports, code and translations. Building a strong and vast community matters significantly.
What is our business model ? Cozy is a type of Android for small hardwares. It’s a B2B2C model. Our direct clients are businesses. Cozy is an open platform that companies can provide in addition to their boxes (hosting provider, Internet Service Providers) or their clouds (energeticians, banks. Insurance companies). It provides the advantage of a robust architecture and a rich application ecosystem. We also provide them with professional services to build specific applications that can leverage their offers.
What you will do
Improve the awareness of our product: From the feeback you will collect (from users and clients), you will define the right messages to attract new users to the platform. You will validate your assumptions from your measures.
Automate and run digital campaigns: You will build automated tools to help you in planning and executing email campaigns, new landing pages, peer-to-peer recommadation, SEO optimization and content marketing strategy (for us or for our clients).
Identify markets and new potential customers: You will become the expert in our field. You will know perfectly the competitive landscape, the evolving market needs, and how those things relate to the company mission and vision.
Participate to the product strategy: You will collect data on the identified market and monitor the competition. From this information, you will help in defining the roadmap of the product.
Look for new product ideas for our direct clients: Our clients already have a large customer base. You will look for ways to include Cozy in their offers while maximizing our success.

What we expect from you
- Great writing skills ;
- Have already run successful marketing campaigns ;
- Have experience with online user life-cycle and common marketing platforms (like Mailchimp) ;
- You are at ease with the English language ;
- You are ready to work in a technical environment ;
- You are comfortable with the startup working style : flat organization and changing context.
You are our perfect candidate if you
- Have extensive experience in running successful marketing campaigns ;
- Know how to communicate efficiently what you have learned to all deparments (product, sales, development, support) ;
- Have strong analytics analysing skills ;
- Can script your recurring tasks.
